Are you passionate about driving excellence in customs and audit document process management?

Bp is seeking a dynamic Procurement Coordinator to support and coordinate a response to customs and procurement related audits in Mauritania and Senegal.

This is a unique opportunity to work across diverse teams and geographies, ensuring regulatory alignment and continuous improvement in our procurement and document control processes.

This role delivers value by developing and implementing document control methods while leveraging technology solutions.

About the role:

Act as bp’s key coordinator for customs and procurement audits in Mauritania and Senegal.Collaborate with internal teams (Audit, Procurement, Materials Management, Finance, Tax) and external stakeholders (Customs Agents, Authorities).Coordinate audit preparation, scope definition, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.Support audit execution and follow-up, ensuring timely responses and stakeholder alignment.Coordinate endorsement of audit findings and drive closure of audit actions.Support documentation coordination with bp Customs Agents and ensure compliance tracking.Provide regular insights and performance reports to leadership.Maintain centralized audit records and drive improvements in data management systems.Ensure all data related to internal audit is properly stored in one place (Teams) for further tracking.Identify ways to enhance data collection processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of audit responses, while also strengthening risk management.Work with CAM of bp Customs Contract to implement or improve record keeping systems, both physical and digital, for customs related documentation & support implementation when requested.

About you:

Essential criteria:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement/customs regulations in Mauritania and Senegal.Proven track record in managing procurement/customs audit requests.Strong knowledge of document control best practices.Ability and willingness to travel to Senegal as needed.Excellent internal/external stakeholder management and coordination skills.Detail-oriented with rigorous audit management capabilities.

Desirable criteria:

University degree in a relevant field.CIPS certification or equivalent.
