CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Procurement Coordinator. Type: Contract Job Title: Procurement Coordinator Location: Wilmington, NC *Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC* Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Education: Prefer at least 2-year degree or higher (not required with relevant work experience) Description The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the overall procurement and optimization of all activities that support the delivery of MRO parts to the production groups at the Wilmington, NC Plant. This role involves supplier management, storeroom support, invoice resolution, and inventory control, requiring strong supply chain knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience Required Supply Chain experience Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas) Procurement Responsibilities Manage non-disclosures and certificates of insurance for 900+ suppliers Process ~5–10 new supplier adds annually and 300+ supplier change requests Manage PeopleSoft part cleanup Review stock-out part sheets Monitor and expedite order issues Review order confirmations Analyze purchase price variance and PO closure reports Follow-up on vendor and purchasing part information requests Facilitate invoice resolution for production parts Guide PeopleSoft users on resolving invoice issues Prepare shipping memos as needed Pull parts from Storeroom for shipments Investigate and adjust repairs returned to Storeroom Manage bin-to-bin transfers as needed Process shipping memos and prepare repairs for supplier return Reconcile monthly inventory and purchase orders to track repairs Conduct cycle counts and raw material counts (daily) Assist with inventory relocation and space optimization Move products for cycle count accuracy Perform bin-to-bin adjustments as needed Required Qualifications Education Prefer at least a 2-year degree or higher (or equivalent work experience) Qualifications Strong organizational and proactive management skills Self-starter; reliable, resourceful, and adaptable Experience with PeopleSoft Effective task prioritization with ability to multi-task Conflict management and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills: tact, patience, flexibility, and courtesy Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships across all levels Knowledge of proprietary drawings/parts and fundamental inventory control procedures Strong written and verbal communication with internal customers and external suppliers Ability to quickly learn procurement policies, processes, and tools Additional Information No third party resumes will be accepted Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer CTG is an E-Verify Company To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to Jamie.Robinson@ctg.com.
