Job Description:
WHAT YOU DO:
Customer service for internal customers and vendors. Communication with vendors on price, products, order status,Timely and accurate key entry of incoming orders for UPS operations, Stock level management.Maintains and contributes to weekly and monthly reporting.Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurateSupports team in identifying ways to reduce costs through competitive sourcing initiatives.Helps develop category implementation plans to ensure continuous process improvement.Creates complex spreadsheets, documents, reports, and presentations. Assists with Requests for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), financial and performance clauses, metrics, terms, and penalties to ensure the best bid among vendors.Market analyses to reveal saving opportunities: Internet, trade press, trade fairsSupports the execution of contracts within the assigned commodity.Previous experience with the Coupa purchasing system – nice to have
WHAT MAKES YOU STRONG:
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - PreferredExperience as a buyer preferable in IT or Supply section - PreferredExperience with vendor sourcing - PreferredExperience with negotiations - PreferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and OutlookVery good English skills in speaking, reading and writing.Very good command of Turkish in speaking, reading and writing. Any other language (East District countries) is an advantage.
