Procurement Buyer II

As a Procurement Buyer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a strategic level. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function.
You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and you’ll work out of our Cheon-an, IA location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an indispensable asset to our organization's success.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Customs Compliance:
+ Ensure all import activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and customs procedures.
+ Stay updated on changes to customs regulations and requirements.
+ Inventory Management:
+ Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring availability.
+ Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate inventory replenishment.
+ Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels and facilitate orders.
+ Supplier Management:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
+ Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities.
+ Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions.
+ Purchase Order Management:
+ Create, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of products.
+ Work with internal departments to assess their procurement needs and ensure orders are fulfilled.
+ Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, late deliveries, or defective goods.
+ Reporting and Documentation:
+ Maintain accurate records of all procurement-related activities and transactions.
+ Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance metrics.
+ Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience focused on Logistics with exposure to procurement.
+ Ability to speak and write and review procurement and customs compliance in English is required.
+ Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
+ Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
+ In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
+ Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
