Procurement Buyer II
As a Procurement Buyer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving our organization's procurement and purchasing activities. This position plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will oversee purchasing processes and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives. You will report directly to our Buying Manager and you will work out of our Monterrey, NL location on a Hybrid work schedule. Your role adds immense value to our company by orchestrating and optimizing the procurement function, leading to enhanced operational efficiency, substantial cost savings, and fortifying its position in the competitive business landscape. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Drive the purchasing process, from PR to PO, identifying procurement needs, ensuring that purchases are made efficiently and in accordance with organizational guidelines. • Track order acceptance for all issues PO’s. • Handle invoice mismatch issues on time (SAP). • Set up/ maintain supplier in system, supplier onboarding process (Compass/Ariba) • Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and collaborating on improvements to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain. • Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies, maintaining accurate and organized records. • Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of quality control standards in purchasing processes. • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing on the detection of opportunities and seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards. • Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and analytics, to enhance purchasing processes, monitoring, and reporting. YOU MUST HAVE • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field • 3 + years of experience in Buyer, procurement function • Fluent written and listening in English • Strong knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes and activities • Experience in buying process in SAP ERP system. • Proficient in procurement software and tools. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
