_This position is an integral part of the supply management team working closely with Site Leaders, Commodity Leaders, Region Material Leaders and buyers to maximize the effectiveness, compliance, and management of the operational procurement .Drive operational procurement functions, being the liason between the plants and the suppliers within Honeywell Smart Energy. Candidate will drive and implement process improvements, system enhancements and continue to lead / improve productivity and efficiency within this function._ _Goals – Drive key metrics including OTTR, working capital, productivity and Supply base optimization_ _Achieve agreed metric / goals for site with Procurement Supervisor_ **_Key Responsibilities_** + _Process requisitions, place purchase orders, expedite and track orders in support of Procurement and Operations_ + _Maintain ERP material data as directed by Strategic Sourcing._ + _Maintain and assure current order status information to keep supplier on-time to request info valid._ + _Effectively expedite orders to prevent line down situations and air transportation costs._ + _Manage rescheduling of direct materials as required_ + _Resolve all invoice holds in a timely manner to prevent credit holds._ + _Manage complaints to suppliers (delivery issues and/or quality)_ + _Interfacing with Global Commodity Manager and aligning site strategy with Global Commodity Strategies_ + _Supporting Honeywell Smart Energy (SME) objectives on Cost reduction, Supply Chain Lead time reduction, working capital, and quality and delivery improvement._ + _Support in-sourcing and out-sourcing strategies_ + _Manage and execute supplier and operational issues, including but not limited to engineering change management, contract maintenance, parts availability, quality and launch support._ + _Use Honeywell tools and processes to drive fact based decision making._ + _Escalation point to resolve supplier performance issues._ + _Ensure selected supply base is meeting SME initiatives for cycle time reduction, productivity, quality and delivery._ + _Communicate any Transitions to the factory and receive buy-in for implementation timeline._ + _Responsible for achieving business objectives: productivity, defect reduction, lead-time reduction, on-time delivery, and new supplier launches._ **_Must Have_** + _Bachelor’s In Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or Operations_ + _2 to 5 years of Procurement experience_ + _English communication skills written and spoken_ **_WE VALUE_** + _CPIM and/or CPM certification desired._ + _Minimum 1 year experience on Supplier VMI and productivity saving contracts._ + _SAP Material Planning experience_ + _Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification desired._ + _Leadership - strong managerial skills to work across all functions and levels of an organization; ability to lead change; effectively establishes high performing teams and role models high performance standards._ + _Communication and Interpersonal - crisp verbal skills for velocity plus effective listening skills; effective facilitation skills; demonstrates high energy and models behaviors to motivate the team._ + _Execution - persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills._ + _Strategic Thinking - ability to make sound business judgments related to strategic supply philosophies and initiatives._ + _Strong interpersonal skills_ Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
