As a Procurement Buyer I here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a foundational level. This position is essential in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you’ll work out of our Monterrey, Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by supporting procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and contributing to a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an invaluable asset to our success. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** · Assist in the purchasing process, from identifying procurement needs to supplier selection and negotiations, ensuring that purchases are made efficiently and in accordance with organizational guidelines. · Participate in evaluating potential suppliers, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms to secure cost-effective and high-quality purchases. · Monitor and control purchasing costs, seeking cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation. **YOU MUST HAVE** · Experience in procurement or purchasing. · Able to communicate in French · Strong negotiation and contract management skills. · Knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier relationship management. · Proficiency in procurement software and tools. **WE VALUE** · Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. · Experience in procurement or purchasing roles. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
