Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, you will focus on evaluating vendor risks, analyzing contract data, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while supporting the optimization of procurement processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in vendor performance monitoring and contribute to enhancing compliance strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough analyses of vendor risk management and service level agreement data to inform procurement strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that provide actionable insights into vendor performance, contract timelines, and procurement trends.
• Streamline tracking systems to improve scalability and efficiency in vendor management.
• Monitor vendor compliance by tracking overdue records, conducting completeness checks, and escalating issues as needed.
• Generate monthly compliance reports for stakeholders, detailing pending tasks, vendor responsibilities, and upcoming deadlines.
• Collaborate with business units to establish measurable service level agreements and oversee quarterly reviews for compliance.
• Evaluate procurement workflows to identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Create strategies to enhance vendor accountability and align procurement practices with organizational goals.
• Act as a liaison between vendors, procurement teams, and internal business units to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Organize and facilitate vendor review meetings to assess performance and address compliance issues. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in vendor management processes, reporting, and analytics.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the development of statistical or financial reports to support decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced skills in Office Suite; experience with financial or procurement software is a plus.
• Solid understanding of procurement or accounting software applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various organizational levels.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
