The successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to join our Supplier Management and Procurement team located in the United Kingdom. This team supports multiple Boeing Global Services - Commercial (BGS-C) businesses in Maintenance, Repairs, and Overhauls in a fast-paced global environment.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of our Supply Chain including our policies and procedures as well as the systems and tools which we utilize to execute procurements on behalf of our customers. This candidate will also be responsible to support development and expansion of an agile and responsive supply base with rapid response lead times required to support the BGS business in a competitive and global market place. You will need strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills to build and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders and key external suppliers.
This position acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility to support procurement activities for aftermarket Goods and Services for Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Modifications.
BFE Support Agent Description
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Mods BFE Support Agent to join the Supplier Management team in Frimley, Surrey. The successful candidate will support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Integration with program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategiesNegotiates pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreementsConducts risk, issues and opportunities managementLeads development and execution of Quality and Delivery Improvement Plans.Manages supplier performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance. Mitigates risks and issuesCommunicates supplier and organization performance plan risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders and support executive level meetingsManages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and performance to scheduleInitiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategiesManagement representation in meetings such as Program Reviews, ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI, Proposal Boards and other meetingsProvides support to Program Management and other key stakeholders for managing/reporting of supplier performanceDevelops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives, procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirementsEnsures compliance with Boeing procedures and regulatory requirements applicableSM focal representing at regular Integrated Project Team meetingsRequired Skills/Experience:
