Job Description
Join one of Canada's largest growing companies as a Procurement Admin, where you will become an integral part of a dynamic procurement team. You will be required to quickly gain proficiency in SAP and IFS ERP systems to efficiently manage a demanding workload throughout the P2P process.
ResponsibilitiesGenerate, document, issue, review, and receive purchase orders and requisitions for material orders.Maintain purchase order integrity in line with the ERP system and manage exception messages generated from the ERP system.Collaborate with the supplier quality assurance team to ensure all vendors strictly adhere to the Quality Management System.Provide vendor management to ensure all material and resource orders meet customer requirements and delivery expectations.Communicate inbound and outbound shipment statuses to appropriate departments and identify potential or realized delays.Distribute procurement information to other departments and coordinate all material movements.Adhere to material spend and inventory goals.Identify new suppliers and foster positive, long-term relationships.Monitor material inventory levels and determine purchasing demands.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in an administrative role with a focus on supply chain, logistics, or procurement.2+ years of experience with invoicing.Strong customer service skills, with frequent vendor communication.Experience using ERP systems, particularly for the procure-to-pay process using IFS.Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, V-look up, and X-look up.Strong data management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the manufacturing or aerospace industry.Familiarity with IFS and SAP.A post-secondary degree in supply chain management or a related field.Six Sigma certification.Data analysis skills.APICS certification is an asset.Ability to read engineering drawings.Experience in the food or hardware industry.Accounts payable experience with a focus on the three-way match.Work Environment
This position requires in-office work within a pit-style environment, featuring morning team meetings. The role follows an 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday shift, with potential overtime as required by project demands. The work culture promotes a family feel environment with a flexible schedule and open-door policy.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
