Weyerhaeuser’s Springfield Tree Farm operation, based out of Springfield, OR has an opening for a Processor Operator. We are seeking individuals who desire to work safely in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the current Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, vacation, and holidays. Rate of pay is $37.600 per hour. *Key Functions: * * Able to safely and competently fulfill all processing responsibilities to include the ability to process/manufacture and sort stems to the required standards, implement new operating software developments, quickly respond to different bucking directions as market changes, and required record keeping. * Process stems on and off the road under various yarding systems while being able to safely operate the processor on various slopes and soils. * Able to perform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop. * Demonstrated commitment to safety * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver's license * Two years of experience operating a processor * Competent, qualified, and be able to work independently and/or as a team member *About Timberlands* We believe trees are a remarkable resource that can and should be managed responsibly to make a range of products that meet human needs, while also providing recreation, wildlife habitat, and other important ecosystem benefits. *For more than a century, we've been taking care of forests to make life better.* *About Weyerhaeuser* We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place.
