Job Title: Processor – Data Entry, Documentation & Research
Department: Wholesure Processing
Reports To: Team Lead – Operations Support
Position Summary
The Processor is responsible for accurately entering, documenting, and researching insurance account data to support policy issuance, endorsements, and carrier compliance across Wholesure’s portfolio. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to established SOPs, and a strong sense of urgency to meet service timelines and maintain data integrity in partnership with agency and underwriting teams.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Documentation
Input new and renewal insurance submissions, endorsements, and cancellations into the policy management system accurately and completely.
Ensure all file documentation is scanned, labeled, and filed in accordance with company SOPs.
Track and log all entries for audit compliance and visibility.
Research & Resolution
Investigate missing or conflicting data elements by cross-referencing carrier portals, internal systems, and agency communications.
Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
Perform gap reviews of policy files to verify accuracy of coverage, endorsements, and payment details.
Task Management & Timeliness
Prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment while meeting turnaround expectations.
Monitor assigned tasks and update status daily within the workflow management system.
Process Adherence & Quality
Follow all departmental SOPs to ensure consistent processing standards.
Participate in routine audits and quality reviews; take corrective actions as needed.
Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest workflow or system enhancements.
Collaboration & Communication
Communicate effectively with underwriting support, agency partners, and team leads to clarify missing information or correct discrepancies.
Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay informed on procedural updates and system changes.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
Experience:
1–2 years in a data entry, administrative, or insurance processing role. Prior experience in a high-volume insurance or underwriting support environment preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience using insurance management systems (e.g., ImageRight, Workday, or similar platforms) is a plus.
