Responsibilities:
Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision performs a variety of engineering assignments in developing and implementing production processing methods and controls to meet quality and safety standards in the most cost-efficient manner. This position reports directly to Operation Manager.
Knowledge of general heat treat requirements for solution treat & age of titanium and aluminum. Proficient in verifying paperwork (routers, logs, furnace charts, specifications, furnace calibration status, etc.) Knowledge of company policies, applicable procedures, specifications, and work instructions Proficient in cleaning processes Knowledge of all heat treat equipment operation Understands purpose of and how to perform shear testing.
