Job Title: Process Systems Engineer

Location: Devens, MA (Hybrid – 50% onsite)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Process Systems Engineer to join our team in Devens, MA. This role plays a critical part in the design, development, and implementation of electronic process systems, including MES, DeltaV, OSI Pi, and process monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will bring a strong experience in manufacturing or process engineering, project management expertise, and a passion for innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage changes to process systems, ensuring alignment with user requirements and compliance with change management protocols.Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, IT, Validation, Quality, and MSAT teams to drive initiatives to completion.Own the lifecycle of process system changes, from requirements gathering to implementation and qualification.Develop and execute documentation and testing for DeltaV and MES recipe qualifications.Support manufacturing operations by providing technical expertise in investigations and change controls.Maintain Chain of Identity within process systems and manage User Acceptance Testing.Generate and deliver reports using reporting software tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cell therapy manufacturing.At least 1 year of experience with DeltaV or other process automation software.Experience with electronic batch records (preferably Syncade MES).Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.Familiarity with process historian tools and data analysis for troubleshooting.Knowledge of DeltaV and MES library objects.Validation experience is a plus.Experience in cell therapy, biologics, or vaccine manufacturing is highly desirable.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Working Conditions:

Primarily office-based with occasional entry into cleanrooms and laboratories. Exposure to hazardous materials may occur. Gowning requirements apply for cleanroom access.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56.83 - $56.83/hr.
