What You’ll Do

Lead with Expertise: Own and resolve complex technical issues, lead deviation investigations, and implement effective CAPAs that ensure robust, compliant manufacturing.Be the Go-To SME: Provide deep technical insight into upstream and downstream processes, supporting troubleshooting, training, and process optimisation.Drive Innovation: Identify and lead process and equipment improvements, from concept through to funding and implementation.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Operations, MSAT, Quality, Engineering, and Technical Services to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.Project Leadership: Manage short-duration technical projects, ensuring delivery on scope, cost, and schedule while navigating technical challenges.Champion Excellence: Promote a culture of Right-First-Time and Zero Defects, and contribute to audit readiness and defence as a technical expert.Mentor and Influence: Coach peers and junior colleagues, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

What You Bring

A degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical/Biological focus preferred); equivalent experience considered.5+ years of cGMP experience in biopharma manufacturing, technical operations, or engineering.Strong working knowledge of upstream cell culture and downstream purification.Proficiency with digital tools such as eQMS (Veeva Vault/QTS), MCS, PI, LIMS, and AMPS.Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead investigations, and influence cross-functional teams.Method One certification and experience with process monitoring systems and automated control systems.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Working Patterns and Duration: 

Day based Monday to Friday.
