The Process Owner, Commercial & Regulated Products - Custom Formulations is responsible for providing support to production escalations in respect to Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing.

This position reports to the Value Stream Leader, Commercial & Regulated Products and is part of the Commercial & Regulated Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Provide support to production escalations in respect to Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing; Take ownership of problem solving and follow up on production issues. Troubleshoot and correct problems that may arise throughout the process.

Monitoring/trending/analyzing of KPI’s and make recommendations to manager regarding efficiency improvements and performance standards (Plan-Do-Check-Act)

Assist in Quality Assurance tasks by driving to root cause, writing MOCs and SOPs, and development of processes for new products. 

Lead cross functional Projects (define, plan, execute and follow-up/sustain) in the assigned value stream related to growth and efficiency. Act as SME and feasibility expert for projects as you will have the helicopter view of internal manufacturing activities.

Take ownership of the implementation of improvements of all types by hands on implementation in the lab or by working with Specialists, Lab Technicians, and other Value streams.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent by relevant experience of at least 5+ years.

Experience in application of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

The ability to effectively review analytical reporting, interpret complex data and formulate conclusions.

The ability to develop and sustain productive work relationships with support groups and internal stakeholders.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
