Job Description

The Process Operator plays a crucial role in the production process. This position involves assisting with grinding and monitoring computer panels. The operator is responsible for handling materials, including drying, milling, and packaging into drums, as well as maintaining documentation and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

ResponsibilitiesAssist with grinding and monitoring computer panelsWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for 2-3 hours while handling materials.Take wet material out of dryers and process it through the mill.Package dry powder material into 50-gallon drums, seal, and label them.Conduct milling to refine materials into smaller and finer powders.Load and unload freeze dryers.Document all processes and follow SOPs rigorously.Run finished material tests as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Document control skills.Ability to follow SOPs.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.6 months to 1 year of experience working with GMP and SOPs.Experience with batch records is beneficial.Work Environment

The work environment includes a production office where batch records are stored and an office where purchasing activities take place. The role is part of a small team, currently consisting of 3 people, with the potential to expand to 5. The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
