We are looking for a Process Manager to join our team, reporting to the Plant Manager. He will be responsible for: planning, strategies, development and coordination of process engineering operations, technical and technological resources, allocation of inputs and raw materials, evaluation of technical and management reports on equipment use, aiming to reduce maintenance costs and increase the production capacity of each machine and continuous improvement, in accordance with pre-established guidelines and strategies.
1. Defining and optimizing the resources of production and performance of production facilities in terms of capacity and costs, implementing investment projects in new equipment, as well as ensuring the application of quality, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
2. Defining, together with the Factory Technical Management, the deadlines for implementing investment and industrial diversification projects, coordinating studies on machines, equipment, production capacity, among others.
3. Suggest modifications, innovations, new methodologies and techniques in production processes, and in the use of machines, tools and devices for continuous improvement in manufacturing in terms of quantity, quality and costs.
4. Analyze purchase lots and provide recommendations on the obsolescence of machines, equipment and industrial facilities, together with other areas of the company involved in quality, engineering, new product development, among others.
5. Ensure criteria and action plans for research into new technologies and raw materials, aiming at cost reduction and continuous improvement of the final product.
6. Develop and carry out studies of methods, movements, organization of industrial facilities and manufacturing processes and/or engineering projects, analyzing production programs, workloads and other variables, according to established guidelines and directives.
7. Carry out detailed studies on rationalization and optimization of production processes, monitoring the development and application of new or adapted methodologies, technologies, production operations and tasks.
8. Plan and coordinate the activities of development, construction or modification of machines, equipment and production devices, plant layouts, aiming at the continuous improvement of production processes.
9. Plan, study and develop research projects in equipment and products, establishing objectives, scopes and methodologies, identifying sources of physical and financial resources and preparing physical-budgetary schedules.
