Position Summary

Responsible for managing marketing content through the Engineering Change Order (ECO) system, collaborating with cross-functional partners including Legal, Regulatory, Clinical, and Medical Affairs. The Manager serves as a subject matter expert for content compliance and process optimization, applying editorial skills and process discipline to ensure quality and efficiency. This role supports ongoing improvements in content submission and approval practices, maintains the Master Claims List, and helps train new team members on processes and tools.

 

Principal Responsibilities Manage assigned marketing content submissions through the ECO process from Pre-ECO through final approval, ensuring quality and compliance.   Collaborate with content owners to edit and refine submission materials, ensuring alignment with brand and regulatory standards. Maintain and distribute content review tools such as Fine Print Guides and dashboards to support visibility and tracking Serve as Pre-ECO platform (Aprimo) administrator: provide access, training, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain (update) and distribute Fine Print Guides for all product lines. Collaborate with Digital and Document Control teams to improve system workflows and drive process updates. Assist in training new users and marketing personnel on Pre-ECO and ECO best practices. Support quarterly updates to the product claims matrices in partnership with marketing stakeholders. Apply project coordination skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Contribute to updates of SOPs and training materials related to content review processes. Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience  Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field  Medical device industry experience is a plus
  Specialized Skills / Other Requirements Familiarity with quality and document control systems a plus. Exceptional attention to detail in writing/editing and process tracking. Ability to drive projects. Strong diplomacy and persuasion skills to influence the behaviors of large groups of people and push back when needed. Capable of managing competing deadlines while maintaining high-quality output Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and cross-functional coordination skills  Background in process governance, process excellence, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
