Description Process Improvement Consultant 2 Our Enterprise Risk Management Operational Excellence Office is growing, and we are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Process Improvement Consultant to join our team. The Process Improvement Consultant will lead Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives that drive operational excellence and enhance operational performance. This role is responsible for identifying process inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement, and leading cross-functional teams in the Corporate Risk organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, risk management, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. Job Description Leads continuous improvement initiatives through analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing sustainable solutions using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and Agile. Identifies inefficiencies, drives high-impact projects, and consults with all levels of management to create value and buy-in as a business transformation partner. Focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsible for decisions that may have significant, long-term impact on the business while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information. ​ Duties and Responsibilities: + Lead complex, cross-functional projects to improve quality, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction. + Assess enterprise policies, business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process optimization strategies using Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and other statistical and data-driven methodologies. + Partner with business segments, risk teams, technology partners and leadership to align improvement initiatives with strategic business goals and customer needs. + Translate business requirements to technical requirements and consult with the Senior Automation Engineers to identify automation and analytics opportunities. + Develop and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of improvement efforts. + Support change management efforts to promote a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable adoption of new processes and/or analytics. + Support the development and implementation of standardized procedures, templates and tools for continuous improvement oversight. + Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field + 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process consulting; or Master’s degree in business operational excellence, process improvement, or equivalent specialization with 3+ years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications: + Master’s preferred + Proficiency in tools such as process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). + Strong analytical, change management and project management skills. + Ability to solve problems independently, work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail. + Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. + Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Gemba or other process improvement methodologies. + Strong leadership and coaching skills. + Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred). + Experience in a bank’s Operational Excellence, Risk Management or Technology function. + Change transformation or organizational development experience. + Skilled in articulating and interacting with both technical and non-technical leaders. + Experience working within an Agile framework including development of roadmaps, backlog prioritization, and sprints. + Demonstrated ability to convey ideas verbally and/or in writing with a clear, concise, organized, and articulate style using a format appropriate for target audience. + Working knowledge of financial services processing systems and/or Archer GRC tool. + Proficient with MS Office Applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Compensation Range: $70,000-$140,000 annual salary The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
