Job Description:

A Implant Production Enhancement Specialist (PES) reports to production but assists the shift process technician with pre-defined engineering tasks.  While the time can vary depending on need, generally the PES will work 70% of their time in production and 30% of their time with Engineering working on tasks that could include basic disposition of product gathering data or running material in the area that is traditionally assigned to a technician. 

Candidates for this position must be experienced and capable:

Operates highly complex equipment, in a cleanroom environmentAdhere to cleanroom requirementsSupport Microchip's Guiding Values and CultureCertify and operate multiple platforms of highly to moderate complex equipmentReceive direct instructions and follows prescribed procedureActivities are routine and may be repetitiveAbility to manage production and process/equipment duties on a daily basis

This position will perform the following tasks:

Perform required Preventive Maintenance procedures on Implant equipmentPerform Routine Maintenance proceduresPerform routine checks and qualificationsPerform designated machine calibrationsPerform tasks as directed by an equipment engineer, process engineering and or techniciansPerform tool recoveries when errors occur on the equipmentInitiate, perform, and implement corrective actions towards resolving process and equipment problemsTroubleshoot out of control tool issuesUpdating/creating recipes as needed on Implant equipmentAttaching SPIFSAddressing/closing SPACE violationsDetermining tool qualification requirements post maintenance interventionPerform pressure tests/char testsAdjust and release lots as required for ImplantPerform advanced tuning procedures as neededMonitor quals for efficient turn-roundComplete OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans)Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize dataInterface effectively with all departments to obtain coordination of efforts needed to accomplish priority tasks.

Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.Basic computer, math and reading comprehension skills.Proficiency in written and oral communication.The ability to follow detailed work specifications and instructions for each piece of equipment, while also meeting deadlines.Maintain and exhibit a positive and productive attitude and behavior with others.Willingness to participate in building a positive culture and contribute to a pleasant work environment.The ability to work on multiple different tasks throughout the day by focusing on one task at a time and paying careful attention to detail until completed, then quickly moving on to the next task.Working across designated areas of the cleanroom with the related machinery.Prior success working individually and in a team environment.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Availability to work a defined schedule assigned to you.Adaptability to change.Is a continuous learner and desires to enhance his/her skills and knowledge.Produces quality work, takes the job seriously, and displays good work habits.Takes the initiative to stay busy, work hard, and be productive.Perform work that can be repetitive in motion.Ability to wear a cleanroom suit and PPE.The cleanroom smock consists of a hood, face veil over the nose and mouth, safety goggles, light weight suit, fitting nitrile gloves, and shoe coverings.

Ability to stand 95%, walk 90%, sit 5%. Must also be able to carry and lift 6lbs, and push and pull up to 85 lbs on wheels.

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in Colorado, is $18-25/hr.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
