Process Engineering Technician

Position Summary

This position leads engineering projects and improvements in the production process, providing solutions with technical innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

Support MSI updatesAssist with problem solving activities to drive scrap reductionClose reports from production projectsContributes for process transference and new process implementationDesign of mechanical devices and fixturesCreate synergy with other departments for process problem solvingProvide special technical training when requiredBuy machines, devices or spares required for automation projects

Relationship Management

· Reports to the Process Engineer Supervisor

· Interacts with Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, Quality, Design, RBS and other functional teams on a variety of process issues

Qualifications and Experience Levels

· 2 year Associates Degree in Engineering or related field

· Electromechanics, Mechatronics or Electronics technician

· Experience designing in Solidworks, Fusion or other CAD software

· Automation Projects implementation

· Equipment / process transference projects

· Ideas for funnel of new projects

· Improvements in Production Processes

Skills and Attributes

· High sense of urgency, self-starter, highly driven and solving problem skills

· Good communications skills, proactive and good team player

· Highly Organized

· Able to handle multiple projects

· Experience in Electric Control and PLC programming

· Some experience with task management software

· Spoken and written English communication

Expected Compensation: $23-$27/hour

Compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
