**Job Description**
Here is your chance to make a difference! Our Process Engineering department is looking for a Project Leader with hands-on Engineering capabilities.
Besides the responsibility of being Project Manager in all the Novelty projects, we are looking for somebody with Engineering capabilities to support the team, drive process development projects at the area of EMS.
**Core Responsibilities**
+ Participate as Process Engineering Project Leader in all Novelty project Teams,representing Process Engineering in the meeting.
+ Project coordination with External Machine Builders and with internal Process Engineers / external stakeholders for design input and deliverables verification.
+ Manage complex engineering projects in the consumer industry, as a part of a cross-functional team (in-house and external EMS staff) including engineering, testing, NPI, manufacturing.
+ Have a holistic overview and approach to the projects to ensure that the processing activities are included in the overall planning and risk/mitigations.
+ Mitigate and resolve potential escalations due to topics such as timelines, deadlines, budgets, change requests or similar in the process engineering domain.
+ Act as a central point of contact and advisor in regard to process development for both internal stakeholders such as Program or Project Managers and for our EMS partners.
+ Ensuring that assembly and testing is considered throughout the development of the tech components, giving inputs for improvements based on previous experiences.
+ Drive and give input to the Process Engineering function of development projects.
+ Help resolve complex engineering, manufacturing and delivery challenges by utilizing your experience.
+ Bring strong collaboration and communication skills to ensure a fluent workflow and connection across the lead functions in the projects.

The mission is to engineer and develop robust process solutions for our internal and external manufacturing sites when it fit to our production frames.
In this specific case we know there are capabilities we want to build up on an external Manufacturing platform (PEM) and here the mission is to design/engineer, source, plan and deliver new and existing components in expected quality through global 3rd party design & manufacturing network partners.
The role manages stakeholders to secure outstanding product quality that meets LEGO Quality and Product Safety Standards, and on-time delivery.
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronics or mechatronics)
+ At least 5 years of demonstrated relevant working experience, preferably in a multinational working environment
+ Solid knowledge of Process Engineering tools (DFx, FMEA, Six Sigma …)
+ Proven Project Management skills/ experience.
+ Holistic approach to planning and risk management
+ Strong negotiation, communication, influencing and analytical skills with ability to develop & manage supplier and stakeholder relationships
+ Clear logical international thinking, good at communication
+ Professional level of English AND Hungarian is a requirement in this role.
+ **The position is based in Budapest and requires a minimal ability to travel within Europe (approx. 1 time / month)**
