Process Engineering Manager
**Job Summary:** Qualitrol is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineering Manager to lead our process engineering team in Fairport, NY. The Process Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring that they meet quality standards, are completed on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A key focus will be on leveraging the Fortive Business System (FBS) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage a team of process engineers, provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project execution. + Collaborate with other departments to ensure process gaps are investigated, identified and countermeasure implemented that meets customers' needs effectively, providing hands-on assistance and technical review and direction as required. + Collaborates with other operations leaders to assess daily production support and prioritize accordingly + Develop / Monitor KPIs for the team's performance, including quality, on-time delivery, utilization and cost. Recommend staffing adjustments to maintain the balance between individual workloads and the business' technical needs. + Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new processes to support new products / product upgrades and ensure they meet quality, cost and manufacturability requirements to support mass production + Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the engineering team. + Utilize the Fortive Business System (FBS) to drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and achieve business goals. + Oversee and mentor co-op students, providing them with guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth. + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a technical field with 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. + 2+ years in an engineering management role leading teams of 5+ engineers. + Self-motivated and capable of managing own workload and creating direction or scope. + Knowledge of fundamental design practices, including problem definition, concept selection, proof of concept, and implementation. + Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. **Ralliant Corporation Overview** Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
