Qorvo’s Process Engineering Internships are offered in our Global Operations team. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:
Complete two or three concurrent projects in the areas of back-end processing such as wafer bonding, thinning, dicing, and testing. Data collection via various metrology tools, such as ellipsometers, profilometers, and atomic force microscopes Data analysis using software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel Process troubleshooting and recipe optimization Experimental design and execution of a fab engineering trial
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or related fields Minimum GPA of 3.0 Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, dry/wet etch, CMP) Experience with JMP or Spotfire a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization skills and attention to detail Interest in "hands on" engineering work in a clean room facility, alongside other engineers and operations staff

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31-$42 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
