We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer with experience in aluminum machining to join our engineering team. This position is fundamental to ensuring the efficiency, quality, and profitability of our production lines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, tools, and methods, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and our customers' expectations. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with access to cutting-edge technology and professional development opportunities. + Design, develop, and implement new aluminum machining processes, as well as optimize existing ones to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. + Conduct production capacity analysis, line balancing, and time and motion studies to optimize labor and space utilization. + Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, control plans, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and engineering specifications. + Identify and solve production problems related to the process, machinery, or materials, using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Design to ensure the correct implementation of new projects and continuous improvement. + Actively participate in the selection, validation, and implementation of new machining tools, equipment, and technologies, including CNC program optimization. + Ensure compliance with safety, quality (such as IATF 16949), and environmental regulations. + Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to optimize plant performance, focusing on KPIs such as OEE, FFT, RTY, and scrap reduction…etc + Train production personnel on new processes and standardized procedures. + Handle gaging concepts, CMM report reading, and fixturing for part machining. **Education** + Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. + Desirable: Postgraduate degree or specialization in areas related to manufacturing, processes, or quality. **Experience** + Fluent English + Minimum **3-5 years of proven experience** as a Process Engineer in the automotive industry, specifically in CNC machining processes of metals, preferably aluminum or prismatic aluminum + Solid experience in the use of automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, GD&T). + Advanced knowledge of CNC programming and cutting tools for aluminum machining. + Experience in designing tooling and fixtures. + Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Mastercam). + Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. + Knowledge of quality management systems (IATF 16949). **Behaviors** + **Results-Oriented:** Ability to set and achieve ambitious goals, always striving for efficiency and continuous improvement. + **Proactivity and Initiative:** Ability to anticipate problems, propose innovative solutions, and take action without constant supervision. + **Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving:** Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. + **Collaboration and Teamwork:** Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and different levels of the organization. + **Effective Communication:** Clear and concise skills to communicate technical ideas, reports, and action plans both orally and in writing. + **Adaptability:** Ability to adjust to changes in the production environment, new technologies, and priorities. + **Attention to Detail:** Rigor in task execution and review of technical documentation. + **Leadership (Desirable):** Ability to influence and guide others in implementing improvements You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
