Position Summary

The Engineer has the primary responsibility for preparation, justification, planning, and execution to assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects are completed according to the project plans.Ensure charters are established and projects are appropriately scopedEvaluate requirements of key project stakeholders throughout the duration of the projectConduct critical path analysisEnsure Gantt charts are established and maintainedEnsure vendor performanceKey driver for establishing equipment /Primary technical writer and communicator for assigned projectsKey driver of capital requests and approvals for assigned projectsPrimary point of contact for all functional areas of the business as related to assigned projects

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred in an engineering related field.PMI Certification preferredKnowledge of automation and robotic applications preferredKnowledge dealing with complex manufacturing situations, hardware specifications, quality standards, product development, CAD / CAM, and technical specifications

Required Experience:

6 to 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment involving high speed machining and automation2 plus years’ demonstrated experience successfully leading projects involving highly technical componentsStrong experience working with capital project scope development and justification requiredCNC programming and application experience preferred
