About the Role + Our Group Engineering & Construction (GEC) team (13 people), part of the Industrial Function, is integrated into the Industrial Function department and focuses on maximizing the performance of Industrial Assets and managing Industrial Investment Projects, including Remediation Projects in collaboration with all Global Business Units (GBUs) of the Solvay Group. + As a Process Engineer, you will work on executing engineering studies, developing and maintaining know-how related to H2O2 & eH2O2 Technologies, and coordinating process engineering teams for major industrial investment projects to support the Peroxides Global Business Unit (GBU). You will get the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement approach of Solvay's plants and have a positive impact on the safety, efficiency, and environmental footprint of our industrial operations. + You will be accountable for: + Executing engineering studies to address various objectives such as process development for new materials, debottlenecking, quality, safety, and environmental impact reduction. + Interacting smoothly with all engineering disciplines, technical experts, R&I researchers of Peroxides GBU, and site representatives. + Performing modeling and simulation, defining process flow diagrams, sizing, specifying, and selecting equipment, and developing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PID). + Interpreting data, maintaining, and developing the know-how related to H2O2 & eH2O2 Technologies. + Consolidating process design knowledge by developing guidelines or design tools. + We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode (based in Brussels, Belgium, with optional part-time home office) with travel for short periods, including internationally. About You + Relevant education degree or equivalent in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering. + Relevant work experience of minimum 10 years in process engineering, with knowledge of process engineering principles. + Competencies: + Scientific Rigor + Knowledge of Process Engineering + Strong technical expertise in process design and optimization + Behaviors: + Strong Customer Orientation + Proactive cooperation, ability to take initiative, and act as a leader in your field + Autonomy + Helicopter view + Fluency in French and English About Pay and Benefits + Attractive and equitable pay for all: Compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 82 000 EUR to 92 000 EUR please insert the specific salary range here], your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
