Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** • Responsible for following up on Engineering Changes (CA). • Responsible for updating and following up on the layout control. • Handles route changes, order reviews, and reviews of CA in the same and drawings. • Develop quotations and follow up on the introduction of new products in the plant. • Define tools for initial runs or activations (consumables), as well as Min/Max. • Update and manage the tool matrix for the area, as well as the pre-setup sheets. • Responsible for balancing lines according to takt time (flow of one piece). • Creation, updating, and auditing of assembly instructions, visual aids, and procedures. • Responsible for the development, execution, and follow-up of flow diagrams and PFMEA for the area. • Development and follow-up on continuous improvement projects. • Design and modification of workstations and ergonomic and safe fixtures for new products, always considering the entry, process, and exit of material, as well as any activity that adds value to the product. • Analysis and identification of wastes (NVA-VA) and implementation of Kaizen events. **YOU HAVE:** • Degree in Industrial Engineering, production processes, or related fields. • Ideally 3+ years of experience in a similar position (proven experience). • Experience with Brown and Sharpe /Davenport or ACMES equipment (preferable) and Solidworks. • Experience in machining processes (machines and tools) • Intermediate-advanced English language skills (preferable). **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
