Visit our Careers website to learn more about careers at Applied. **Qualifications** + Expertise in TEM sample preparation and experience with create/modify automation recipe(AutoTEM/iFast). + 4+ years’ experience on FIB/SEM tool operation (Ga-FIB and Plasma FIB). + Bachelor or higher in Materials Science, Chemistry Engineering, or similar field. + Advanced understanding of semiconductor devices such as GAA, Nano Sheet, 3D NAND, DRAM. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Outstanding oral and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work positive way with peers and customers at all levels + Effectively manage projects/tasks/assignments, showing initiative and meeting expected timeframes. + Understand the process of ALD, CVD, PVD, and sputter coating. + Familiarity with destructive technology for failure analysis. + Strong data analysis skills. + Flexible work hour/day. **PREFERRED:** + Experience on TEM operation. + Experience developing new techniques on novel materials + Familiarity with failure analysis techniques **Responsibilities** We are looking for a strong FIB Engineer who has experience operating and resolving various projects using FIB/SEM. In this role, the individual will be responsible for + Interactive with customers to understand the business needs and provide new/alternative solutions. + Explore disruptive technology with process engineering teams on bringing new metrology solutions + Work on production samples using SEM/FIB tool + Create and modify automation recipes (AutoTEM/iFast) to optimize throughput and adapt to new materials. + Compile reports for comprehensive metrology analysis (FIB, TEM, SEM/EDS). + Create and modify automation recipe to optimize production and new type of materials. + Lab metrics analysis and presentations to the team and customer. **Education** : Bachelor **Years of Experience** :6 - 9 Years Experience \#LI **Additional Information** **Time Type:** Full time **Employee Type:** Assignee / Regular **Travel:** Yes, 10% of the Time **Relocation Eligible:** No The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
