Process Improvement Engineer – Operations | Medemblik | 32-40 uur

In deze veelzijdige en impactvolle rol als Process Improvement Engineer ben jij dé expert binnen het Operationsteam. Je opereert op zowel operationeel als tactisch niveau en speelt een sleutelrol in het realiseren van onze doelstellingen op het gebied van Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory en Productivity (SQDIP).

Je ondersteunt het team bij onder andere:

Het implementeren en optimaliseren van processen;Het uitvoeren van data-analyses en het begeleiden van probleemoplossingsprocessen (PSP);Het ontwikkelen en doorvoeren van nieuw beleid en beleidswijzigingen;Het uitvoeren van haalbaarheidsstudies en het opstellen van verbetervoorstellen;Het leiden van projecten en het bouwen van modellen voor o.a. personeelsplanning en KPI-structuren; maken van Pareto-analyses.

Je maakt hierbij intensief gebruik van LEAN- en Danaher-tools om data te vertalen naar concrete verbeteringen en beleidsadviezen. Deze hands-on functie biedt een breed speelveld binnen alle lagen van de organisatie, met veel ruimte voor eigen initiatief en zelfstandigheid.

Jouw profiel

HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau met een relevante studierichting;Uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse taal; begrip van het Nederlands is vereist, vloeiend spreken is een pré;Meerdere jaren ervaring in een productieomgeving, bij voorkeur binnen de Biopharma of Life Sciences;Aantoonbare ervaring met Lean-methodieken zoals Visual & Daily Management, Problem Solving en Lean Conversion;Sterk analytisch vermogen, besluitvaardig, communicatief vaardig en stressbestendig;Gevorderde kennis van Excel en ervaring met datagedreven besluitvorming.

Process Improvement Engineer – Operations | Medemblik | 32–40 hours

In this dynamic and impactful role as a Process Improvement Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert within the Operations team. Operating at both operational and tactical levels, you will play a key role in achieving our SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity) objectives.

You will support the team with:

Implementing and optimizing processes;Conducting data analyses and facilitating Problem Solving Processes (PSP);Developing and implementing new policies and policy changes;Performing feasibility studies and drafting improvement proposals;Creating and advising on work instructions;Leading projects and building models for workforce planning and KPI structures;Conducting Pareto analyses and developing registration apps using Microsoft Power Apps.You will leverage LEAN and Danaher tools to translate data into actionable insights, improvements, and policy recommendations. This is a hands-on role with a broad scope across all levels of the organization, offering significant autonomy and ownership.

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field;Excellent command of English; understanding Dutch is required, fluency in speaking is a plus;Several years of experience in a production environment, preferably in Biopharma or Life Sciences;Proven experience with Lean methodologies such as Visual & Daily Management, Problem Solving, and Lean Conversion;Strong analytical skills, decisive, communicative, and able to perform under pressure;Advanced proficiency in Excel and a data-driven mindset.
