Job Description
The Injection Molding Process Engineer will lead efforts to develop, optimize, and maintain rubber injection molding processes for high-volume gasket production. This role is critical to improving cycle times, reducing scrap, and ensuring process stability. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams on tooling, materials, and product development, while also supporting training, documentation, and compliance initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize rubber injection molding processes for elastomeric No-Hub Gaskets.Set up and validate molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.Identify and resolve molding defects such as flash, short shots, and cure inconsistencies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tooling, materials, and product development.Support training, documentation, and compliance initiatives.Essential SkillsProven ability to develop and optimize rubber injection molding processes.Hands-on experience with injection molding machine setup and validation.Skilled in identifying and resolving molding defects.Familiarity with scientific molding principles and statistical process control (SPC).Strong documentation skills for process parameters, trials, validations, and training materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Rubber Technology, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.Entry level or 3–5 years of relevant experience in injection molding process engineering.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software (ERP, MES).Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.Work Environment
This plant-based role is located in Marshfield, MO. The work environment includes exposure to manufacturing elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals. Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The position operates on 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marshfield, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
