Primary Duties & Responsibilities
-Manufacturing Support
Critical process control parameters to be continuously monitored and updated periodically, with the results communicated to upper management and the Front End production team members by means of monthly reports, posting control charts in production area, monthly group meeting, and company presentations. Maximize equipment capacity utilization with DL productivity, helping to minimize equipment downtime by ordering replacement parts for all production equipment, consumables, and ensuring PM’s are performed in timely manner. Front End Production process procedures and traveler documents periodically reviewed and updated to reflect current practices and process improvements that have been implemented. Discussions held and inputs obtained from primary operators and other team members. Production process problems affecting the yields are identified and corrective action ideas presented to Department Manager as potential projects for process improvement with supporting data to identify root causes and developing corrective actions. Approved corrective action projects are performed with hands on approach, guided, conducted, and managed to support product requirements and Department objectives. Review process definitions, costs estimates, and equipment requirements for process improvement. Submit capital improvement proposals to drive equipment/process replacements or improvements. Capital appropriation requests will be overseen, submitted, and equipment will be installed and qualified following the QRB procedure. Production support is provided as needed to fill in potential gaps during the processing of work orders in the line to ensure on-time deliveries and satisfy product demand. Troubleshooting of equipment related issues to be handled in a timely manner, either through assistance to maintenance technicians or working side by side to assist with repairs. Problem notes, audit findings, and customer complaints are addressed in a timely manner to correct issues. New and improved materials will be worked into the Front End production platform, transitioning from R&D group with hands on assistance provided throughout the qualification process by collaborating as a project team member.-Business Operations
