Process Engineer


Job Description:

Document changes, improvements, and criteria in the processes in writing, involving Engineering, Quality, and Production.Using statistical tools and others, present and develop all changes and improvements required to meet and improve Production indicators.Prepare reports, studies, and charts that are used at the managerial level for correct decision-making, always seeking that these decisions are based on data collected by analyzing the different processes.Improve processes through lean tools such as 5S, SMED, KANBAN, TPM, etc.Lead, support, and follow up on Kaizen events.Get involved in the transfer of processes from the planning stage.Verify the documentation of the process to be transferred and, if necessary, create/modify documentation.Once the process is transferred to the floor, develop a training and implementation program for the process.Establish contacts with counterparts in the United States for process validation.Get involved in the process on the floor to create and design fixtures to improve the process, and once created, follow up and apply them.Directly involve yourself in meeting Production indicators to ensure they are achieved.Actively participate in Daily Meetings with information from your respective areas.All activities are governed by our Quality policies, both locally and corporately

Job Requirements:

Professional, preferably a Mechanical, Mechatronics, and/or Industrial Engineer.Basic knowledge of process improvement and route changes.Basic knowledge of metalworking processes.Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.At least 2 years of experience in lean manufacturing environments.English (85%).
