Process Engineer
Job Title: Process EngineerJob Description As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for setting and achieving various targets within the paint plant, including number of units produced, quality index, and Hour Per Vehicle (HPV). You will analyze production and quality data to improve productivity and car paint quality, while also reviewing and suggesting supplementary investments for process improvement. Responsibilities + Coordinate and supervise the work of operators, providing feedback and training. + Report progress and major task updates to superiors or expatriate coordinators. + Detect and report any product or process nonconformities to immediate superiors and related production lines. + Adhere to policies and procedures. + Manage construction progress schedules for the paint plant. + Prepare for the input of new models in the paint plant, including facility modification and tool preparation. + Inspect and manage new model project progress. + Perform events for new vehicle development and prepare production operations. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Material Engineering. + 2+ years of job-related experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent applications. + Deep understanding of external markets and current trends. + Extensive knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposals. + Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship. + Effective communication with H/KMC employees on business matters. + Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in automotive paint plants. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience managing projects related to paint facilities, conveyor systems, and robotics. Work Environment The role involves working in a dynamic paint plant environment. The position requires interaction with various technologies including conveyor systems and robotics. The work schedule may involve shifts and requires adherence to facility conditions and dress codes.
