Job Description
The Process Engineer will be responsible for maintaining key process metrics from customer feedback, including GCA & A/B/C/FVS metrics. This role requires effective communication with production, maintenance, suppliers, and the shop committee, demanding a significant amount of initiative in decision-making and a high level of independent judgment.
ResponsibilitiesManage fit and finish based on key process metrics from customer feedback.Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, suppliers, and shop committee.Utilize independent judgment and initiative in decision-making processes.Ensure quality and uphold fabrication processes within the manufacturing environment.Essential SkillsProficiency in GD&T and datum strategies.Strong understanding of root cause analysis and fabrication processes.Knowledge of PFMEA, metrology, scanning, and metrology software.Experience with vision systems and tool design.Background in dimensional, manufacturing, statistical, or mechanical engineering.Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a fabrication environment with a focus on quality assurance.Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a production/manufacturing environment (75%) and an engineering office (25%).Shifts include 1st shift (5:30 AM-3 PM), 2nd shift (1:30 PM-11 PM), and 3rd shift (9:30 PM-7 AM), with flexibility required for working Saturdays and every third Sunday.PPE, including safety glasses, high-visibility vests, and arm covers, must be worn at all times.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
