ATI is seeking to hire a Process Engineer to support our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. This position will be based at a manufacturing facility in Vandergrift, PA. In this position you will be responsible for process development and improvement, and quality cost control. You will have daily interaction with production workers, operations supervision, and other technical personnel throughout the company is expected. You will interface with internal customers and suppliers on quality related issues. Adhere to Quality Management Systems including product quality, calibration records, and training documentation. This position is in our technical band and reports directly to theManager, Technology (Process Engineering). Essential Functions + Responsible for process development and improvement. + Responsible for process troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues. + Responsible for quality cost control. + Responsible to effectively interact with all other employees including management. + Responsible for material assessment and disposition of non-conforming product requiring knowledge of customer requirements, delivery schedules, costs, material characteristics and equipment capabilities.
