Process Engineer

Seeking a process engineer with a background in LNG and/or Cryogenic technology for a hybrid, direct-hire opening in The Woodlands, TX.
Key Responsibilities Design and refine operational cycles and perform system modeling Develop and maintain technical schematics, including system layouts and instrumentation diagrams Prepare specifications and documentation for mechanical and utility components Conduct detailed engineering calculations for system sizing and safety evaluations Draft technical narratives to support new project development Participate in structured safety and risk assessments Collaborate with automation teams to define control strategies and system logic Assist in preparing documentation for system activation and operational readiness Support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field At least 3 years of recent experience in a process engineering role Exposure to cryogenic or low-temperature processing systems (e.g., liquefaction, separation) Solid understanding of core engineering principles: thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer Hands-on experience with plant commissioning and early-stage operations Proficiency in process simulation tools such as ASPEN or HYSYS Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards
