Role:
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs): Creating visual representations of the steps involved in a process, including the sequence of operations, major equipment, and the flow of materials and energy through the process. PFDs can be developed using Autodesk or Microsoft Visio tools.Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs): Designing detailed diagrams that illustrate the piping, equipment, safety devices, and instrumentation involved in a process, which are essential for understanding the system’s layout and functionality. P&IDs can be developed using Plant 3D and COMOS tools. Knowledge of the KKS standard can be an advantage.Equipment Design: Designing or selecting equipment such as reactors, separators, heat exchangers, and pumps that are essential for the process, ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards. Heat exchanger designs can be developed using the EDR tool. Please list the tools and software considered to support this activity.Process Specifications: Developing detailed specifications for equipment, materials, and operational parameters to ensure that processes meet required standards and performance criteria.Control Strategy: Designing control strategies and systems to monitor and regulate process variables, ensuring optimal performance and safety.Safety Systems: Designing safety systems and protocols to mitigate risks, including emergency shutdown systems, safety interlocks, and hazard analysis.Environmental Compliance: Describing measures taken to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including emissions control and waste management.Process Optimization: Developing strategies to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, improve product quality, and lower CAPEX. Please list the software used for this activity.Material and Energy Balances: Conducting calculations to ensure that materials and energy are used efficiently throughout the process, identifying areas for improvement. Qualification:
10+ years of experience in designing oil and gas or petrochemical facilitiesExperience with Aspen HYSYS, Plant 3D, COMOS, EDR.Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering design.Proficiency in developing PFDs and P&IDs.Expertise in equipment design (e.g., reactors, separators, heat exchangers, pumps).Knowledge of safety systems and environmental compliance.Strong knowledge of equipment & material specifications, process specifications, and operational parametersExperience of developing control strategies and application of safety systemsExperience in process optimization: process efficiency, reduce waste, improve product quality, and lower CAPEXExperience in environmental compliance: environmental regulations, including emissions control and waste managementShould be able to efficiently calculate Material and Energy BalancesHands on experience with KKS standardExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
