Process Engineer
JOB PURPOSE

To ensure process reliability and process development of PGMS chemicals, LST, VCM and other new introduced product/process/technology at PGMS Shanghai Site.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESSupport the implementation of manufacturing technologies and processes to meet the operations strategy and objectives at Shanghai Site.Process trouble shooting for quality or safety issue, continuously improve existing production processes.New process introduction in Shanghai Site base on the coordination with global technical resources, also do domestic material specification analysis and verification.Provide process support to capital investment project, in all project stages from process design, planning, installation and commissioning.Support HS/PHR as key team member, also incident’s investigation and Analysis.To coordinate and facilitate on site CI programs/projects.Collaborate with other departments to support site operation.

SCOPEProcess continuous improvement and sustainability development (process reliability, process efficiency and process safety).Take the role as key member for new product/process introduction programs/projects.Support process safety activity as team member.Facilitate on site wise continuous improvement programs/projects.

QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE
(TECHNICAL/ PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS COMPTENCY)

Degree/PhD in Chemical engineering, ideally having achieved Chartered/Incorporated status, with significant experience in; a range of technical areas coupled project management ability; or an established area of technical expertise within a specific business area.    A broad and deep knowledge and understanding of PGM chemicals manufacturing and catalyst manufacturing    Have general Process Development or Operations experience in team    A track record working between technology and operations and on new process development and implementation would be an advantage.    Project Management skills and a track record of process improvement delivery    

PERSONAL SKILLS & KEY COMPETENCIES

Good communication skills required to promote project progress.Compiles, collates, prepares and presents project reports with minimal review (internal & external) to explain complex concepts and ideas to the business and customers.Be enthusiastic, energetic, honest and hard work and be able to work standalone in challenging situations
