The Process Engineer 2 is responsible for internal process improvement and the development and execution of projects. This position will lead, organize, and facilitate cross-functional projects as well as work with teams to determine, implement, and improve systems and processes. This role will heavily focus on processes within our Information Systems department.
What you will be doing Conducts cross functional and strategic improvement projects supporting quality and process improvement, engaging with lines of business, and other members of technical teams with guidance from team membersImproves standard processes to shorten the time it takes to bring products, services, and ideas to fruition including processes to identify, qualify, prioritize, and select a project; the tools, approaches, and reporting utilized to achieve and measure success; create, refine, and maintain standard operating proceduresDelivers training and support on standard process improvement including but not limited to classroom training,content development, and champion trainingIdentifies line of business opportunities for improvement and drives continuous improvement adoption with speed and urgencyOffers regular updates on project progress and performs analyses of results and data with oversight from other team membersEvaluates potential projects with oversight from other team members against selection criteria, reviews project activities for progress and roadblocks, conducts tollgate reviews, and works with stakeholders and others to remove roadblocks to successCommunicate progress, status, and issues to all stakeholdersParticipates in project prioritization meetings with other members of the management teamInterfaces regularly with business unit managers to define project direction and system change prioritiesComply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security PolicyWhat will make you successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3-5 years of relevant experience with process improvementRelevant experience with Agile Development methodsProven success in delivering results, and identifying operational opportunities; analytical and problem solving skillsRelevant experience in system implementation and administrationGood oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactGood organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skillsGood collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasGood facilitation and project management skillGood interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of departmentGood critical thinking and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversightGood ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologiesGood ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tactGood ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensusAbility to work independently and in a team environmentFluency in English language (reading, written and spoken) Up to 10% travel time required
