The Bellevue team is looking for a Process Development Lead Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Explore new technologies and develop advanced processes to enable the production of CMP pads with new functionalities and features.Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Pad R&D, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing Technology and others, to develop solutions for top tier customers in the CMP industry.Managing scientific, technical, or information projects, coordinating with other professionals, such as manufacturing, marketing, sales, supply chain and support personnel, to develop and commercialize new products.Demonstrating functional excellence in the application of the scientific method and design of experimentsTimely documentation and generation of intellectual property through patent filing and trade secrets.Enabling business decisions via clear communication of results to technical teams, management, and customersBeing an active member of broader R&D community to drive growth in core market segments and transformational technology platforms.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 10 years or more of work experience in process and product development.PhD and 5 years of work experience with polymer processing or advanced manufacturing. Experience in the electronic industry is highly preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Additional expertise in the following areas may be advantageous: process development, mechanical design, CNC equipment programing, materials processing, control systems, data analysis, computational modelling, material sciences, polymer chemistry, materials characterization.
