 Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer: SAP IDOCs Management

In this role, ensure there is timely planning and execution of projects and hands on experience in analytics reporting as well as data management.

Responsibilities

IDoc Monitoring and Troubleshooting

§ Monitor the status of inbound and outbound IDocs using transaction codes such as WE02, WE05, and WE09.

§ Identify failed IDocs by checking statuses like 51 (inbound data contains errors) and take corrective actions.

§ Compare successful and unsuccessful IDocs to identify discrepancies using tools like WE09.

§ Analyze common reasons for IDoc failures such as missing master data, incorrect configurations, or communication issues.

§ Use transaction code BD87 to reprocess failed IDocs after resolving the underlying issue.

§ Utilize the "Correct and Process" option in BD87 when applicable.

§ Reprocess failed IDocs using transaction codes like WE19 for testing purposes or BD87 for production environments.

§ Manually address any unresolved issues in documents before amending the status to 68 if necessary.

Procurement Experience:

§ Ensure all necessary details, such as item quantities, specifications, and justifications, are included in the requisition forms.

§ Create detailed purchase requisitions listing goods or services required for various projects or departments.

§ Ensure all necessary details, such as item quantities, specifications, and justifications, are included in the requisition forms.

§ Submit purchase requisitions for approval through the configured workflow.

§ Follow up with finance, procurement, or leadership teams to ensure timely approvals.

§ Ensure that all PRs align with budgets and organizational policies before conversion into POs.

§ Monitor compliance with internal and external procurement guidelines.

§ Ensure that all PRs adhere to financial regulations and audit requirements

Qualifications we seek in you

§ Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related fieldMinimum of five years' experience working with SAP systemsStrong knowledge of transaction codes related to IDoc management such as WE31 (IDoc definition), WE30 (IDoc type definition), BD87 (IDoc processing), etc.Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Expertise in SAP modules relevant to your industryStrong analytical skillsAbility to work independentlyEffective communication skills
