Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer - Accounts Payable Analyst

In this role, the objective is to support Management from an operational, analytical and tactical standpoint, by handling stakeholder requests, solving team's questions, auditing and controlling different activities from colleagues on the operations floor, along with running reports, maintaining files and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

· Preferably to have resources who had exposure to manufacturing / industrial companies and to understand the procurement cycle.

· Process invoices in workflow / ERP as per customer policies and guidelines

· validate key fields from scanned documents

· Run uploads for electronic invoices

· Understand customer’s policies and adapt.

· Resolve the exceptions while processing and post processing

· Perform audits in accordance with the customer’s policies and procedures.

· Understand the priority requests from customers and take necessary action.

· Perform TE receipt audits and report the discrepancies in accordance with Client policies.

· Generate the payment batches and work with customer and Genpact internal offices for approvals and printing.

· Respond to vendor’s customer’s e mails / calls for the help desk resources and call back if required.

· Follow the close calendar and perform the close activities as pre-defined.

· Support team priorities and initiatives and effectively manage workload.

· Experience of working in an office environment with tight deadlines and targets

· Month end close activities

Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications

· Accountant / Experience / Experience (Accounts payable, Processing invoices, Exception resolution, Help desk, taxes understanding)

· Knowledge and experience with workflow and ERP.

· English skills (Only for help desk)

· Good knowledge of MS Excel Word Computer skills (MS Office) Intermediate Excel Vlookup, Pivot Table, basic financials Functions

· Strong Customer Orientation

· Basic understanding of Travel and expense reports and audit (Concur)

· Knowledge of AP reconciliations and GRIR reconciliations

· People on helpdesk should have some understanding of AR.

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Effective analytical problem-solving.

· Good understanding of the AP end to end processes

· Experience in the area

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Experience of working on SAP ERP

For Payments and help desk resources should have complete understanding of the AP cycle.
