**Job Opportunity: Controls Engineer**
We are looking for a highly motivated **Controls Engineer** to join our team! This role will support key areas of **Engineering, Quality, and New Projects** , driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across the plant.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide technical support to **Engineering, Quality, and New Product Development** teams.
+ Lead and participate in **continuous improvement projects** to boost productivity and reduce costs.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot **electrical and programming issues** .
+ Oversee and maintain **scanners, cameras, and control systems** .
+ Implement new procedures, documentation, and methods to improve efficiency.
+ Perform and document **preventive maintenance** as scheduled.
+ Support Production, Engineering, and Quality areas during **model changes, audits, and process improvements** , ensuring timely execution and reporting.
+ Actively engage in **plant initiatives** such as 5’s, TPM, and Kaizen events.
+ Participate in **safety and operational activities** , including brigades, drills, and safety documentation.
**Requirements**
+ Proven experience in **metal-mechanical manufacturing processes** .
+ Advanced knowledge of **electricity (medium/high voltage, electrical controls)** , **pneumatics** , and **hydraulics** .
+ Strong skills in interpreting **technical drawings and schematics** .
+ Bachelor’s Degree in **Electromechanics, Electronics, or Mechatronics** (or equivalent proven experience in process control).
+ Solid knowledge of **PLC systems (Allen Bradley – RS Logix 500, 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk, Ignition)** .
+ Strong sense of **responsibility, teamwork, and service orientation** , with the ability to perform under pressure.
+ Good computer literacy and ability to read **technical manuals in English** .
+ Desirable: Experience in **welding processes (MIG, Resistance, Friction)** .
+ Availability to work **different shifts and flexible schedules** .
