Process Computer Systems Analyst

Our work environment is inclusive, diverse, and guided by respect, ethics, and equal opportunities for all. **What we’re looking for:** As a member of the Regional Manufacturing OT Department, the Operations Technology Process Control System Analyst provides technical and operational expertise for the day-to-day support of plant computer applications and control systems. Primary responsibilities include supporting AspenTech products, TCP/IP-based networks, Microsoft Windows servers, Microsoft Windows domain infrastructures, process control systems as well as implementing and managing security measures for protection from cyber-attacks. Additional duties include monitoring system and network performance, ensuring compliance with network and domain security standards, supporting the plant emergency notification system, and maintaining accurate systems documentation. **What will be expected from you?** + Effectively use a broad array of computing skills to identify, evaluate, and resolve technical operational issues and propose new solutions to improve productivity and efficiency. + Install/maintain/support/upgrade: Window Servers and Cisco Network equipment. + Administer and support various AspenTech manufacturing and engineering software applications to increase employee and process productivity. + Lead and/or participate with other personnel to design, plan, schedule and implement projects related to DCS control and business systems. + Manage plant firewall and ensure all connections to plant and control networks are in compliance with company security policies. + Support and administer Windows user security functions on plant control systems. + Support and administer relational databases including design and application support. + Facilitate data exchange between control systems and enterprise business applications. + Maintain/support/upgrade centralized backup system used by supported plant systems. + Manages priorities and work assignments effectively within the agreed to timing. + Keeps current with technical developments through training courses, trade journals, user groups and seminars. + Support 24x7 plant operations and be available for on-call, after-hours and weekend support. + Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. + Assists other employees in accomplishment of Indorama company goals. + Participates in and completes company-required training programs. + Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. **What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?** + Experience with operating system support and Microsoft SQL Server + Experience with AspenTech manufacturing and engineering software + Experience with firewalls and managed switches + Experience securing and protecting servers and networks from cyber-attacks. + Effective communicator with ability to persuade internal and external customers. + Effectively process and analyze data. + Demonstrate initiative by challenging inefficiencies and process deviations. + Strong data analysis skills to effectively identify value opportunities. + Proficiency with applicable Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. + Must be able to be TWIC certified. + Communicates effectively verbally and in writing and maintains effective work relations. + Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities is critical for job success. **What do we offer?** A competitive compensation package, including: • Health insurance • WellHub / TotalPass • Life insurance • And other exclusive benefits The division you’ll be joining is a global leader in the chemical industry.
