Process Coach - Material Handling profile in MP&L at Ford India Pvt. Ltd. - Sanand Engine Plant, Sanand GIDC, District Ahmedabad, Gujarat. **Position Responsibilities** : 1) To drive for Safety /5's & Housekeeping in the shops Assembly & Warehouse and encourage right Safety/5S mindset among the team. 2) To drive towards achieving & improving all the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale metrics as set by senior management team. 3) To hire / train and develop a highly motivated and skilled team of MH&PE technicians/Team Leaders so as to be make SaEP as the Regional/Global benchmark. 4) To develop a two-way communication channel with Customers (Manufacturing/IQ/PD) with a final objective of delivering right part on right time on right location. 5) To constantly drive for high performance (efficiency improvements) for all 3rd party service providers and continue to foster Team Spirit so as to develop a ONE TEAM spirit between Ford and 3rd party team members. 6) To work closely with Supply Chain as a Team to develop seamless material flow processes from supplier to line side. 7) To drive towards 100% adherence to ISO processes involving Material Handling processes and foster a culture of VSM driven Kaizens to improve process efficiencies. 8) Drive the team towards achieving Departmental PDP objectives. 9) To drive towards robust process for having CMMS data integrity in receiving/shipping 10) To lead and co-ordinate ISO within MP&L sections and to ensure process are adhered as per ISO and to aim zero Non-conformances at all times 11) Responsible for stock in plant with high level data of integrity with efficient dock & material gate process. 12) Attend cross functional meeting i.e Cycle count, LLP, SOS, DOS, QOS etc. for drive MH related activities. 13) Raising TDL and coordinate with cross functional team for the closer of same. 14) Ensure development of new process to close gap in MH system. 15) Ensure FG inventory accurate and matching with CMMS stock. 16) Ensure timely shipment of FG parts as per customer requirement. And ensure correct documentation and readiness of same before shipment of FG parts. 17) Handling and shipment of PDC parts as per releases and coordinating with customer for vehicle placement. 18) Ensure proactive action / escalation of critical issues and communicate with concerned cross functional departments for timely resolution of issues / potential issues 19) Ensure pilferable part storage process to follow and system hygiene to be maintained. **Education Qualification:** B.E. - Any discipline **Industry Experience:** 3 to 5 Years preferably in an Automotive Industry **Professional Exposure:** Expertise in Material Handling / Preferable Exposure to Projects / Launch / CMMS3 / FPS **Special Knowledge or skill required:** Hands on experience in Materials Management, Strong understanding of lean material flow strategies, Synchronous Material Flow and lean manufacturing Processes, proficient in performing studies to assess and compare the investment and variable costs associated with alternative actions or specified future conditions. Good working knowledge in CMMS3 **Others (Specifics):** Have exposure on ERP systems, MS Office, Good Communication skills and analytical abilities, demonstrated leadership skills, specifically drive for results and teamwork, strong inter-personal skills, ability to work well in a fluid environment, and ability to travel, Manufacturing plant experience and ability to speak multiple languages desirable. **Requisition ID** : 48187
