Are you passionate about Wealth Management and ready to lead a team of Front Office specialists driving excellence in KYC & AML processes? As a Sector Lead – Process and Quality (AML/KYC) Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sector Head, managing a team of Desk PQS members, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and operational efficiency. You’ll be responsible for overseeing periodic monitoring, risk remediation, and process improvements, with a strong focus on Source of Wealth (SOW) corroboration. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic direction, foster innovation, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
• Leadership & Line Management
• Line manager for PQS Desk members within the sector, responsible for performance management, development, and coaching.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture aligned with organizational goals.
• Subject Matter Expertise
• Act as the KYC subject matter expert for Client Advisor (CA) and Market Team Head (MTH) queries on complex cases.
• Provide guidance and oversight to Desk PQS members on market-level tasks and topics.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Stay current with regulatory changes and requirements around client KYC
• Ensure sector-wide adherence to client KYC requirements.
• Operational Excellence
• Oversee end-to-end KYC activities across the sector, ensuring documentation quality and process integrity in accordance with the stipulated SLA
• Serve as the escalation point for and AML-related topics.
• Monitor and support remediation of alerts and deficiencies in collaboration with MTHs and CAs.
• Quality Assurance & Controls
• Lead sector-level clean-ups and ensure timely remediation of deficiencies.
• Review reports with the team to identify knowledge gaps and drive improvements.
• Team Support & Development
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
• Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client advisors, market team heads, and other stakeholders.
• Process Improvement & Innovation
• Champion initiatives to streamline KYC processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Encourage ideation and innovation within the team to shape the future of PQS practices.
