About the team:
DGBO (Diageo Global Business Operations) is a multi-functional, multicultural, multi-language Shared Service Centre that handles back office Finance Transactions for DIAGEO LATAM businesses. As such DBSB is playing a key role in ensuring effective operation with minimum disruption to business in the Source to Pay Work Stream
About the role:
Global Business Operations is end-to-end multi-functional shared services for our markets to deliver the Diageo Performance Ambition.
GBO provides a wide array of services to markets and functions, with activities ranging from customer facing services, HR operations, general accounting, financial planning and reporting, and specialist services such as tax and treasury. GBO works as a global network with centres located in Bangalore, Budapest, Bogotá and Manila. Processes are organised into four major process towers:
End-to-End Commercial (E2EC)
Source-to-Pay (STP)
Financial Control (FC)
HR Operations (HRO)

The Global Financial Controllership Process Tower is the core of the Business Shared Services offering, delivering core RTR services and expanding into more beneficial Financial Controlling activities.
Global Business Operations Bogota blends the best of the global tower strategies with the competitive advantage of a close connection and knowledge of the markets and being in the same time zone and language. In the past years GBOB has Efficiently implemented Diageo´s global finance model into the region by developing the SSC into a Business partner for the Region.
Purpose
To complete a range of transactional financial processes and tasks accurately and efficiently, following global policies, standards, processes and internal controls. Transactional processes in this position, means will work closely with In Market Company representatives of different levels and departments as well as relevant third parties.
Role Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos and debit memos as well. Validate issues evidenced in the process of posting and detonate corrective actions looking for issue resolution. Achieve critical important metrics by understanding the impact of them and pursuing the relevant process improvements Accurate post of online payment (OLP) requests, FI invoices and down payments (DP) when required. Effective quality checks evidenced by zero issues on Parked and blocked invoices. Invoices returned to vendor (RTV) are followed up to get replacement invoice meeting quality criteria and are posted in a timely manner to forestall any impact on critical metrics Tracking and managing of the STP shared mailbox according to the market assigned. Ensure all the relevant STP controls are operated and adhered to in their area of work. Keep Process Documentation actualized and accurate.

Qualifications / experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience such as but not limited to, BCom, BBA, BBM
English Level Intermediate (B2) and Portuguese is a plus
Experience
Handle of SAP ERP FI and MM Modules
2-3 years of experience in a computerised accounting department of a large, reputable commercial organisation
Customer care and team playing skills
Crucial Skills:
Good understanding of accounts payable process
Experience in Invoice processing
Understanding of accounting
Tax requirements understanding
