Problem Loan Portfolio Manager Sr
Description

Summary:  

The Problem Loan Portfolio Manager, Sr. is responsible for managing identified problem loans to determine credit worthiness, asses risk, and compliance with Bank lending policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manages a portfolio of business customers in partnership with the relationship managerSupports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of workProblem Loan Underwriting reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions   Appropriately assess risk profile of borrowerTasks as needed to support the line of business and job familyResponsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and ongoing credit quality of assigned portfolioWill work directly with the Team Leader, Relationship Managers, and Regional Credit OfficersConduct portfolio reviews with senior managementMust function in the team environment, where the colleague may be assigned to work with teams outside of their direct reporting line. Participation in special projects is expectedPrioritize work to meet customer expectationsPerforms other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal credit trainingProven and in-depth knowledge of credit products, risk assessment and debt structuringBachelor’s degree in business related fieldAbility to underwrite credit exposures more than $1MMProficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resourcesExcellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanorStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-upAbility to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality
